Details will be coming out to you next week about the district's reopening plan. At this point in time we have measures in place to bring all of our students back into the buildings to attend school on-site. Adjustments will be made to the physical space, the types and location of some activities, etc., all in order to keep students and staff as safe as possible. We believe that it is critically important to our students' academic needs and social/emotional wellness to be back in person with their classmates and teachers. We will also work with families whose students can't come back into the buildings (due to serious health concerns, etc.) on a case-by-case basis. Please contact your building principal/s if you have questions.
The CDC has just released a guidance document to help parents, guardians and caregivers with the decision to send their students back to school. You might find it helpful if you are struggling with this decision.
