TITLE IX Policy
Park County School District Number 6 (District) is committed to a safe and civil educational environment for all students, employees, volunteers, and patrons free from sexual harassment and discrimination. Sexual harassment is a form of sexual discrimination which violates Section 703 of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Title VII), as amended, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e, et seq. and the Educational Amendments of 1972 (Title IX), as amended, 20 U.S.C. § 1681, et seq.1 This policy shall apply to all students, employees, and volunteers of District.
District prohibits any harassment on the basis of sex in its education programs or any activity that it operates, including in employment.
District’s Title IX Coordinator is designated and authorized to oversee compliance with all aspects of the District’s Sexual Harassment Policy.
