Get ready for some friendly competition and to support our Veterans Day Fundraiser!
Each grade will have a jar in the front lobby to collect change Oct. 14–23.
🔹 Coins = positive points for your grade
🔹 Bills = negative points for other grades 😈
At the end of the week, the grade with the most points wins!
All proceeds support our Veterans Day Fundraiser.

🔥🚒 Fire Safety Week! 🚒🔥

Our kiddos got an exciting hands-on learning experience today as they explored a smokehouse simulator and learned important lessons about fire safety and prevention! 🧯👩‍🚒 These experiences help our students understand how to stay safe and what to do in an emergency.

A HUGE thank you to Park County Fire Protection for taking the time to teach our students these valuable life-saving skills! ❤️ We appreciate all you do to keep our community safe!

🔥🏕️ A Little Camp Life in the Classroom! 🏕️🔥

Some of our 4th graders brought a little bit of the great outdoors inside! They had a sweet time making s’mores, enjoying some camp-style fun, and making memories with their classmates. 🍫🤎

Nothing beats a little learning, laughter, and a LOT of marshmallowy goodness! 😋🏕️✨

🚦 NEW PEDESTRIAN SIGNAL COMING TO BIG HORN AVENUE! 🚦

A new Pedestrian Hybrid Beacon (HAWK signal) is coming soon to Cody’s Big Horn Avenue near Cody Middle School! This new signal is designed to help students, families, and other pedestrians safely cross the roadway. 💛

We want to make sure our Livingston families understand how the new signal works—especially those who walk, bike, or drive through this area.

🚶‍♀️ FOR PEDESTRIANS

1️⃣ Push the button to activate the signal.
2️⃣ STOP & WAIT for the WALK signal.
3️⃣ START CROSSING when the WALK signal appears—and always watch for cars.
4️⃣ FINISH CROSSING when the countdown begins.

🚗 FOR DRIVERS

⚫ DARK: Proceed with caution and watch carefully for pedestrians.

🟡 FLASHING YELLOW: Slow down. A pedestrian has activated the signal.

🟡 SOLID YELLOW: Prepare to stop.

🔴 SOLID RED: STOP for pedestrians.

🔴 FLASHING RED: Stop first, then proceed with caution only if the crosswalk is clear.

👉 The most important thing to remember: When the two red lights are solid, drivers MUST STOP for pedestrians. Once the lights begin flashing red, drivers must stop first and may proceed only when the crosswalk is clear.

Please take a few minutes to talk with your children about how the new signal works, especially if they will be walking or biking in this area. A little preparation can help everyone navigate the new crossing safely! 💛

Slow down. Stay alert. Watch for pedestrians. Let's keep our kids safe!

We want to give a special shout-out to Mrs. Lewis for always being such a positive and encouraging part of our young learners’ lives!

One of our moms recently shared that her daughter took the Mother’s Day earrings Mrs. Lewis helped her create to the fair—and she did amazing! 🎉 She earned Reserve Champion in her age group! 🏆

📚💙 Buddies make learning even better! 💙📚

Our 2nd and 5th grade buddies enjoyed some special mentorship time together! Students spent time reading books, building relationships, and learning from one another. We love seeing our older students step into leadership roles while encouraging and supporting their younger buddies! 🥰📖
