🎶 4th and 5th grade students have learned a Ghanaian rock passing song called "Obwisana". This game is fun to play and reinforces a complex and rotating steady beat pattern and the concept of good sportsmanship.

🎶 Our 2nd graders had a fun time exploring some of our new instruments last week! They learned about timbre (the unique sound of an instrument) and had a chance to try out our new canary stick. 🐦

Learning Beyond the Classroom!
Our 5th graders had an amazing visit to Y-TEX today! Students got an inside look at the world of manufacturing and engineering while learning about a variety of engineering careers, artificial intelligence, and how the tags are designed and manufactured.
They also got to see some amazing machines, technology, and robots in action!
We love giving our students opportunities to connect what they’re learning in the classroom to real-world careers and experiences. A huge thank you to Y-TEX for welcoming our students and helping them see what’s possible! 💙💛

Students stepped back in time as they learned about Wyoming’s past, explored artifacts, discovered the history and traditions of ancient tribes, and learned about the fascinating history of Medicine Lodge.
They also learned how Medicine Lodge has changed over time and is now home to the Medicine Lodge Archaeological Site and Wildlife Habitat, an important area for Wyoming wildlife, including elk. 🦌
We are so thankful for opportunities that take learning beyond the classroom and allow our students to connect with Wyoming’s history, land, and people! 💙
