Spending and saving pays off! 💰
Some of our first graders earned enough class money to enjoy a special lunch in the classroom—with a friend! We’re so proud of their hard work and smart choices! 🌟

Congratulations to our November character trait winners!
This month we focused on gratitude. These students express genuine gratitude and thanks to others. They not only express gratitude when they have received something, but possess a generalized appreciation for things that are meaningful to them.
Way to go! #LivyROCKS #WeArePark6

Congratulations to our kindergarten class for raising the most money for our Veterans Day Coin War challenge! They raised $477!! They celebrated their victory today with an ice cream party supplied by Student Council!

🎉 Perfect Attendance Shoutout! 🎉
We are incredibly proud of the 27 students who had perfect attendance during the first trimester! 🌟 These students showed up, worked hard, and proved that being present makes a big difference.
When students are here, they learn more, grow more, and stay connected with their teachers and friends. Every day counts—and these students are a shining example of that!
Way to go, Livy! 💛👏

Our 4th graders ROCKED IT today! 🪨🥪
Using their culinary creativity, students built sandwiches that represented the characteristics of igneous, metamorphic, and sedimentary rocks.
To celebrate the end of their Earth Systems unit, they brought together writing, math, and science for a grand finale project—and it was a huge success!

This Thursday will be happening at the Library!

🦕✨ Tales From the Cryptids at Livingston! ✨🦕
Our students had an absolute blast today with “The Sound Guy,” Charlie Williams! His high-energy presentation brought storytelling to life through onomatopoeia, cartoons, puns, and plenty of student laughter.
Charlie’s program, “Tales from the Cryptids,” blends literacy, writing, and investigative thinking. Students explored mythical creatures through witness stories, books, news reports, and firsthand accounts—then voted on whether they believed the tales were fact or fantasy. It was like stepping into a live Believe It or Not museum!
Not only was it wildly fun, but it also helped students strengthen skills in:
📚 Distinguishing fiction vs. nonfiction
📝 thinking like reporters and writers
🔍 questioning, researching, and evaluating information
💬 sharing ideas and backing them up with reasoning
Charlie shared that every grandpa has a story about “seeing something weird”… including him! The kids loved every minute of it—and so did we!
📚 Bonus! Charlie will also be at the Cody Public Library today at 2:00 PM with a completely different show. If you’re looking for an afternoon adventure, go check it out!
