FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Livingston Elementary Selected to Represent Wyoming at the National Christmas Tree Display in Washington, D.C.!

Livingston Elementary is beyond honored to announce that our school has been nominated by Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon and selected to represent the great state of Wyoming in the 2025 America Celebrates Ornaments Display in Washington, D.C.!

This incredible opportunity, coordinated by the National Park Service and the National Park Foundation, invites one school from each U.S. state and territory to create ornaments that will adorn 58 trees surrounding the National Christmas Tree at President’s Park near the White House. This year, our Livingston Broncs and Fillies will bring the spirit, beauty, and pride of Wyoming to our nation’s capital!

Students will design ornaments that reflect what makes Wyoming remarkable—our majestic landscapes, wildlife, state symbols, and culture. These student-created designs will be viewed by over 250,000 visitors throughout December and will shine proudly on the Wyoming state tree during this nationally celebrated holiday event.

We are incredibly thankful to Governor Mark Gordon for this nomination and for the opportunity to showcase our students’ creativity and love for their home state on such a meaningful and visible platform.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for our students and an unforgettable way to share Wyoming’s story with the world.

Stay tuned—once the official national announcement is made, we’ll be sharing exciting behind-the-scenes moments of the ornament design process and how our Livingston community can join in the celebration!

Let’s cheer on our Livingston Broncs & Fillies as they spread Wyoming holiday cheer from Cody to the capital!
