Proud Superintendent of Park 6 Schools - Welcome to the 2026–2027 School Year
Dear Park 6 Families, Staff, and Community,
Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! As we begin another exciting year of learning, growth, and opportunity, I want to extend a heartfelt welcome to every scholar, family, staff member, and community partner who makes Park 6 such an exceptional place.
At Park 6 Schools, we are so grateful for the opportunity to be a small part of your family's journey. Entrusting Park 6 with your children is a privilege we never take for granted. Together, we share the important responsibility of preparing every scholar for success, and we are incredibly thankful to be part of such a strong, supportive, and engaged community. Your partnership is one of Park 6’s greatest strengths and one of the reasons Park 6 continues to thrive.
As we reflect on the accomplishments of the past year, there is much to celebrate. Thanks to the dedication of the Park 6 scholars, staff, families, board of trustees, and community, Park 6 continues to be recognized as one of Wyoming's highest-performing school districts. Park 6 Scholars once again achieved outstanding results on the WY-TOPP assessment, earning performance levels among the best in Wyoming. Cody High School ACT scores continue to be one of the best in the state and demonstrate strong college and career readiness, reflecting the high expectations and commitment to excellence found in every one of Park 6 Schools.
Excellence at Park 6 extends far beyond the classroom. Park 6 scholars continue to distinguish themselves through outstanding achievements in athletics, activities, and the fine arts. Whether competing on the field, court, track, mat, or pool; performing on stage in music and drama productions; creating award-winning works through visual arts education; or participating in clubs and leadership organizations, Park 6 scholars consistently demonstrate talent, character, and dedication. Park 6 has earned a reputation for offering some of the premier academic, athletic, activities, and fine arts programs in Wyoming, with several programs receiving recognition not only across our state but on the national stage. These accomplishments are a testament to the incredible commitment of Park 6 scholars, coaches, directors, teachers, advisors, families, and community supporters who invest countless hours in helping Park 6 scholars discover and develop their passions.
Innovation also remains a hallmark of Park 6. Through our nationally recognized Classroom 2 Careers initiative, scholars are connecting classroom learning with meaningful, real-world experiences that prepare them for success beyond graduation. From internships and apprenticeships to business partnerships, career exploration, and authentic project-based learning, our scholars are developing the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed for the future. We are honored that this work has been recognized as a statewide leader through Governor Mark Gordon's RIDE Initiative, demonstrating what is possible when schools, businesses, higher education, and the community work together to create meaningful opportunities for scholars. Park 6 is so grateful for the commitment from Cody Business Leaders.
As we begin this new school year, the Park 6 purpose remains unchanged: Park 6 prepares graduates to chart their own course through learning experiences that equip them with the knowledge, skills, and resilience to discover their unique path to success. This preparation begins at birth. Birth to Classroom and Classroom 2 Careers. We are committed! Park 6 believes every scholar deserves opportunities to discover their strengths, pursue their passions, and prepare for a future filled with possibilities. Together, we will continue building on Park 6 tradition of excellence while embracing innovation that prepares scholars to thrive in an ever-changing world.
Thank you for your continued trust, partnership, and unwavering support of Park 6 Schools. We are honored to serve your families and excited to see all that Park 6 scholars will accomplish during the 2026–2027 school year.
Together, We Are Park 6!
